Green Juice

I Juice. Do you juice? We should all love green juice!

Did you know that greens are the greatest food a person can eat (or drink)?

Vegetables such as kale, cucumber, celery, and spinach work wonders for organ health, immune system strength and weight loss. Green drinks can supplement any type of diet as a means of getting all your necessary vitamins and minerals.

I first tried this green drink at a juice bar in Morris County, NJ. Not sure I remember the name, but its one of my favorites and I make it all the time. The ginger gives it such a refreshing flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 pear
  • 1 organic cucumber
  • 1” slice fresh ginger
  • Ice
  • 1 cup of organic spinach

Directions

  • Juice your apple, pear and cucumber.
  • Pour juice in to high speed blender (I use a Vitamix)
  • Add ice, ginger and spinach.
  • Blend on high for about 30 seconds.
